He was in some great films.

Jaws was the first movie I saw in the theater. I think I was a re-issue, cause it was around 76-77. I will miss him.

I loved him in so many things...Jaws, French Connection, All That Jazz, The Seven Ups, 52 Pick-Up, Cohen and Tate (with Adam Baldwin!), Naked Lunch. But my absolute favorite is Sorcerer.

Damn, we've been losing a lot of good ones lately.

That's the name of the movie, directed by William Friedkin in 1977. It's a remake of a French film called The Wages of Fear, about men transporting nitro-glycerine through some treacherous terrain for it to be used in blowing out an oil-field fire.
