Ok, I wanna talk a bit more about my latest work, at:

First all of all, I want to thank everyone who commented so nicely! :) It means a great deal to me.

Here's how it is. As I was saying in the Extended Commentary in the BSR, I had to reconstruct a River figurine from several parts. I did, however, not succeed in finding a proper right foot. As a result, I had to leave her feet off. That is, in and by itself, not a big deal (though Joss, no doubt, would beg to differ): after all, this is art, and it don't matter none that you show a person just partly. What DOES matter, however, and which kept bugging me, that, in order to connect the River figurine to the 'key' shadow, I had to place her nearly on top of that shadow. Which is itself fine, except that now she seems lowered on the Z-axis, as it were: effectively standing, uhm, yeah, a foot or so below the surface (you can see that on the left panel of the image I posted here below). Peeps were decent enough not to mention it. But since I consider this work one of my best, I swang back to the belief that I could do better. :)

Eventually, I found a foot I could use. See the middle, square image. I had to rescale it, of course, and proper colorize it to fit the rest. But now River is functioning again like she's a girl. :) I also cleaned up some minute blending errors, and made her front left leg a bit crisper; but that was minor stuff.
