You know, it's an oddness - even though River is clearly one of the focal characters on the show, she really doesn't say much, except for a few episodes like 'Safe'

"Stupid son of a bitch, dressing me up like a gorram doll!"

and OiS. There's a great deal more quotes regarding River by the rest of the gang. Curious....

It really was. I laughed so hard when she said it. I think Summer did an excellent job of delivering it. I could actually picture River's mind working to figure out the little person inside.

Um... Well, there's the obvious ones, but those aren't my favorites. I like those slighty obscure ones, like

And the days as measurement of solar cycles, not applicable one, I can't recall the exact wording off the top of my head.

Ahh, but then there is the classic:

RF, I'd suggest you check out some of Schooner's stories - he's got River down cold. I, too, love it when she does her human scientific calculator bit, and Schooner did this one short story where she dabbled in the culinary arts - it was a RIOT! Oh, and 'River's Letter to Santa' deserves to become a classic. (Schooner, you listening? I'm plugging you, dude.... )
