Unification Day

Is there a date set in the Gregorian calendar for Unification Day? (not officially) If there isn't one, shouldn't we try creating one for fans of the 'Verse to observe?

Rallem, there is a date set for Unification Day-September 20. Although some folks do attach significance to it as a day when Browncoats came together, thus "unification"- most Browncoats don't observe it, unless you count having a drink in an Alliance friendly bar and having a fight as "observing" it.

September 30, 2005 - Serenity Day the release of the Movie. Also known as Serenity 'Versary ( as coined by 11th Hour ).

How ever it is celebrated, whether in a bar, or as a symbol of something else, it is an important day in the 'Verse, and it should be celebrated. Thank you for telling which day it is set.

I can sort of see myself in a Firefly Convention as the one Purplebelly on Unification Day. 
I would outnumber all of you, no matter how many of you there are. 
Although that would sound like a very long day.
