PC Term for Reavers

I need some suggestions for a stupidly nice way of saying Reaver but serious. It's for a fic about how the Alliance is dealing with Miranda.

For example, I found that a pc term for cannibalism is intra-species dining but that was too comical for what I'm looking for.
