I'm down with that, but of course the best way to rub FOX's face in it and show they are d?ì ruò mù j? would be for Firefly the movie or tv show to make a ton of money for another studio or network! I'm all for that!
Go browncoats!

Heya Ginobiffaroni,
Sounds like a plan!
I'll give it a shot though I dont envisage much success, I have already asked my video rental stores to get it and they can find no reference to it in any of their ordering catalogues..not surprising considering Firefly DVD's only come in region 1. Still..
Later.

Just the way Harsh Realm came back, eh? I'm still waiting for the second season of Star Cops too...
Sorry, I know that was cruel, but it doesn't have to do anything.

What?!?!?! You didn't like "Galactica 1980"???? Amazing!
Gee.. I wonder when the "Galactica 1980" boxed set comes out. Maybe there are some unaired episodes they can include.
OK, enough sarcasm. Gos se does get released, though. There are video releases of "The Starlost" and even the failed pilot "K-9 and Company".

Errr...Leeh, if I remember rightly Fox never had Buffy. It went from the WB to UPN. WB wanted it back but lost a bidding war after season 5. Not at all like Firefly's story: different network, not exactly a success.

Seems calm enough though."

Whoops--my bad. All these spin off networks seem the same to me; same bad programming, except when they kill off the few good ones. . .

I think the Buffy and Angel fans might not take kindly to your comments. There are some folks who take Jos' work pretty personal.
Truth be told I'm not a Buffy fan.

Ohmigod, I didn't mean THOSE shows! I'm a Buffy fan myself, and like Angel as well. I meant all the NON-Joss stuff, basically--the formulaic sitcoms and tired dramas that seem like rehashes of rehashes of rehashes. It's hard to imagine a FF fan who isn't at least appreciative of Buffy and Angel, since they have his signature intelligence and wit. I guess I should give the WB credit for letting Angel live, while FOX killed FF so quickly, huh?

Well... after Fox canceled the show, there were postcard and petition campaigns directed toward WB, UPN and the Sci Fi Channel. All three networks passed on it, obviously.
The pre-cancellation letter writing campaign to Fox DID result in the DVD set eventually being produced.
With the success of the show in the UK (and online) and since the DVD appears to be more successful than anyone hoped... I wonder if WB, UPN or Sci Fi would be more willing to listen to the browncoats and bring the show back.
Perhaps the launching of another campaign is in order.
