Hi guys. I've ripped the following tracks from my DVDs. Please don't ask me to post them anywhere, since I don't really want to get Fox's lawyers sic'd on me. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about my selections. I'll probably be listening more carefully to the eps to get more tracks later on as well... I was a bit more patient with some of the later eps this pass around and so got more tracks, especially those with a lot of talking over the music, which I tended to not use in the earlier eps. I'll describe the scenes these are taken from, since I both don't remember and can't provide the time data (my computer's DVD player is still a bit buggy with times, but it kicks butt for just about everything else) for most of these. I've used a fadeout on most of the tracks to try to make the stops a little less abrupt.

And oh yeah, I am being stupidly fanboyishly optimistic in my naming scheme, as S1 = Season 1.

Chapters as on the DVD, of course. I really wish they'd been a little more consistent with the chapter breaks. On most of the eps the last chapter is just the end credits, with the "Fade to Joss and Tim" as part of the chapter before that, but sometimes it's different. In general I kept the "Fade" whoosh in tracks up to the end of eps.

Please tell me about other music bits that you liked in any part of the DVDs. I'd also like comments on my names for the tracks, as well as my edits of where to begin and end the tracks. Thanks!

Chapter 2 on one of the eps (I believe it was OiS) ripped straight through. No trimming needed. :) Though note that in "Serenity" the teaser is two chapters so the theme is chapter 3.

Chapter 3. Start of music in the scene up to and including Mal bursting in. I get a high-pitched noise on this track. It's actually there during the entire scene. Does anybody else have this? It's also there during playback with two of my computer's DVD players.

Chapter 7. Entire scene of cutting down the bodies and Kaylee defusing the Reaver trap. This is the only track where I cut out a middle section. I skip the whole part of the Reaver victim waking up and River's screaming. The cut's noticeable but not too jarring.
