I do not know if this has been covered before, but I am interested in what kinds of plants and animals would be found on the terraformed planets.

Here are a few obvious ones.

Rats: They seem to have thrived everywhere humans have gone.

Rabbits: Same as rats. They are a big problem in Australia.

Goats; Useful animals that can adapt to most environments.

Donkeys: Same ar goats. Large ferral population in Sonora and Mojave.

Pigs: Same as goats. South Carolina through Florida are over-run with ferral pigs.

Dogs: Lots of genetic diversity. Yorkshire terrier to bull mastif.

Fire ants

Pigeons

Now the plants. I can think of several off the top of my head that seem to take root anywhere.

Pampas Grass
Russian thistle (Tumble weed)
Kudzu

I suppose there would be a lot of food crops that could be adapted to the new planets. I guess soy on one of them. Real fruits and vegetables seem to be a luxury.

Thoughts anyone?
