Always liked Faith, but it was Season 4 when I realized how much (Spoilerish)

From "Salvage": When Faith and Co. have gone out to capture Angelus, Faith warns not to make a move without her giving the okay. Connor beheads a vamp, clearly believing it's him. Faith's not having any of it and puts him in his place.
Faith: You deficient? What did I just say?
Connor: He was attacking.
Faith: You thought it was Angelus. Can't listen. You're no good to me. Someone take him back to the hotel.
Connor: What?!
Gunn: Easier said. Kid's got a history of not doing what he's told.
Faith: He'll do what I tell him.
Connor: Yeah, sure I will.
(He starts to go ahead anyway, but she puts a stop to it in her special way.)
Faith: I get it, you're a super-being.
(Connor still puts up a fight, to which Faith answers with pointing the crossbow in his face.)
Faith: Are you a murderer? 'Cause I am. If it comes down to you or Angelus...you haven't shown me a thing to make me want to take your side.(Connor backs away, puts his weapon down.)
Gunn (clearly impressed): I like her.

Definitely love that scene. But for me it was three seasons earlier in "Five by Five". Before then, Faith had likable traits to me, but not really any redeeming qualities. Her screaming at Angel to kill her left me with goosebumps (not to mention a severe appreaciation for Eliza Dushku's acting ability). After that episode, I saw how much her character really had to offer.
It's for those reasons I think a Faith spin-off would be the most interesting out of all the characters. Not that I'm against the Ripper movie by any means. I just think that there was still a lot to explore with Faith's character, moreso than anyone else.

Ripper's a prequel to BUFFY, so who knows what we'll learn about early Giles!
I particularly loved the Faith/Connor scene because well, Connor had it coming to him. Didn't hate it that it was a girl who put him in his place.
