I love dorky Wes!

Two of my all-time favorite lines:
"Hello--lawyer!"
and, of course:
"Were you in Virginia?"

What about "Mmm...nummy"?
Hee-Hee!

"And this whole 'I'm Angel' thing is just a really bad idea. I mean, if I thought that woulda worked, I could've been Angel, 'cause guess what? Pretty much a girlie name."
And not a quote, but I also like when she's going thru the mug shots and sees one of Kelly Manners...

That's probably my favorite episode from that season (although Lindsey with the evil hand speech comes pretty close
).
I'd have to say my favorite part is the whole exchange at the end where they're arguing about Virginia, and all the while Angel keeps chiming in about how he's not a eunuch. I was in tears the first time I watched that.
And yes, dorky Wes rules.

"But I neeeeed tacos! I need them or I will explode! That happens to me sometimes."

Angel:I thought we were gonna talk about my problems.
T'ish Magev:That car IS your problem, pal. It says everything about you.
Angel:The car.
T'ish Magev:Yes, the car. You live in L.A.. It's all about the car you drive.
Angel:I really don't think-
T'ish Magev:Vampire living in a city...known for it's sun...driving a convertible. Why do you hate yourself?
Angel:I don't. I got a deal.
T'ish Magev:You got a deal. Why not a personalized license plate...that says "irony."
Angel:The top goes up.
T'ish Magev:Appearances. Very important to you.
Angel:That's not true.
T'ish Magev:Sure it is. So important that you're willing to put your eternal life at risk every time you hop into that thing. Top up or not.
Angel:It's just a car.
T'ish Magev:Uh-huh. So why all the layers, all the black? You know it's been about 80 degrees in the shade lately.
Angel:No reason. I don't have a body temperature, so...
T'ish Magev:So it's for the look.
Angel:No. It's just this way...I don't have to worry about matching. I don't have a reflection, so-
T'ish Magev:Sure you do.
Angel:I do?
T'ish Magev:You're reflected in the people around you. The way they see you. What do you think they see?

"The swami hit you? Swamis don't hit--swamis swahm."
It's one of my favorite eps of that season, too, but for my very favorite, I'd have to go with "The Shroud of Rahmon".
W: "I'm here to warn Angel about... something."
...
W: "Your hair!"
K: "You're here to warn Angel about my hair?"
W: "It's blonde."
...
W: "I noticed your hair right away."
and of course, the whole scene with dorky Angel meeting Jay-Don at the bus station. "Oh, I'm supposed to ask you something. What is it, what is it? Oh, yeah: what's the password?"

Don't know if you're planning on it or not, guys, but you should check out my ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL post. Embers just linked to a frigging amazing three-page interview with Joss. He talks about damn near everything, including the ANGEL comics, Goners, and more.

A.V.Club Interviewer: "What can you say about Goners, the horror-fantasy film you're developing?"
Joss Whedon: Well, there may be some female empowerment in it at some point. [Laughs.] I don't know who put that there. It's the same brew that I tend to brew, which is a combination of horror, and heroes, and people crying, and female empowerment. It's the thing that's made my career..."

And thanks to this thread, I had to go back and check out that episode......along w/ several others.
A- "I'm not a eunich" .
What a cool show.
People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss
" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "
