This is a site I use frequently for names because I'm one of those people who usually like to do something a bit more different than 'Dave' or Jack' (I just used this site to come up with Mr. Frye's first name). It has names nicely catagorized by ethnicity as well as separated between male and female. Also gives definitions of meanings as well as variations. And, if you want a particular definition name (like anme that means 'ax' or 'warrior' or 'blossom'), Check out the Special Catagories. If you want to search a particular name's origins or definition, use the search engine.

I do like to come up with names, but its more difficult to come up with names for chinese characters for example.
