Jericho is at the top of the Nominations poll, with 28,055. They are generating nearly 600 votes a day, and have kept that up for weeks (in mid-July they had 18,000, on July 1 they had 11,469. At the end of May, they had 2,106, just below Drive (at 2,247), which was when I first noticed Jericho was in play. So, in less than three months, they have gone to the top of the nominations poll.

The bottom show on the top 40 is Les Filles de Caleb, with 32,248. This show has been picking up more votes lately, but has only averaged about a hundred a day for the last week. So Jericho has a net gain of over 400 a day. If that keeps up, Jericho will displace Les Filles by the middle of the month. Unless, of course, the French speaking fans of Les Filles mobilize to keep the show where it is.

Once Jericho is on the top 40, it will be easier to vote, and the fans might really get energized. They could get up to a thousand votes a day. Enough to make things interesting for the up and coming shows.

Not overly.

Their totals have indeed been growing dramatically over the past week but even at the levels they've reached in the past two days, they won't catch Herc for 48 days, which is to say, late September. Jericho's due to catch then well before that, and it's doubtful if Les Filles will be able to keep up this level of votes once they drop off the top 40.

It's not impossible but it's going to require them to kick up their effort quite a bit further than they already have.
