there is a thread on the skiffy boards ( www.scifi.com ) at the moment, where fans vote up their favourite ship.
Currently, only Battlestar Galactica, Moya, the TARDIS and our own dear Serenity still survive. Join the boards, vote Serenity up, and have a shiny time on the boards in general.
I wouldn't normally do this, but the TARDIS guys have accused us of cheatin', and that's got my goat. They have insulted me and mine, and that demands a reconin'!
go here to join the boards,

and here to vote

Yeah I'll keep voting but don't expect to win that game
One of our fellow Browncoats turned traitor at skiffy, Shan Yu formed an alliance with the BSG fans and campaigned to get dozens of browncoats banned

A new rule has been passed; you need to have already had you id registered at skiffy prior to today (specifically, 6pm ET 7/15). Apparently, the fellow running it never intended for folks not already active contributors to skiffy to be able to participate; ie: they wanted to promote current skiffy members to be active vs recruitments from other boards; especially if the folk only showed up at skiffy to vote on this game.
At least this limits all ships to whoever is currently enrolled.
In any event, if you are not already registered at skiffy, don't bother to simply on the basis to participate in this game. On the other hand, they do have some interesting discussions now and again, and if you want to participate in -that-, have at it.

I'm starting to give up on that game
Some tightass called EldarKinSlayer got a dozen or so Browncoats blocked from Skiffy, the Farscapers claim this battlestar fanboy has also got administration powers.

The Farscapers also say Skiffy blocked a lot of work places and blocked all of Alabama State University from logging on their site

As far as the listed 'players' go, I believe cheating was reasonably fairly established. To me, the embarrassment is that the cheaters were associated to FF.
Regarding the work site and college site blocks, I really couldn't say.
EldarKinSlayer is the 'host' of the game, FWIW. He's put a -ton- of effort into keeping the game 'on track' and as fair as possible given a forum thread isn't exactly 'designed' to enforce rules in a game like this.

Guys don't waste your time on that stupid skiffy website
I saw that repair game back in May when the game had way more players like Enterprise, Serenity, Andromeda, Farscape, DrWho, SG-1, and I can tell you it was the BATTLESTAR fans who first started cheating with multiple logins and flame baiting
Serenity is an icon and everyone who knows Firefly loves it unlike BSG. Serenity went out with a bang and no dumb Skiffy game is going to put a dent in her
The scifi site owns Battlestar so the administrators decided to hand out mass-bannings to stop the flood of non-bsg fandoms coming to their forum
