A question for Massachusetts Browncoats...

I've been noodling moving to Boston. I'm currently living in L.A. and have been there a few times and am just wondering what it's like to actually live there as opposed to just visiting (economically, socially etc).

How are ships unlike food?
1. If you try it and don't like it, you don't have to do it again.
2. You can have as much as you want, when you want.
3. Cravings can be very specific.

Clean, and you're probably UNused to that.
New England stoic, if you're not in the city proper, all college-y if you are.
*don't live right there, but have friends that do- I'm a good deal west of it.
