While I'm not a part of the "extreme Christian Right" who would ever want an ammendment such as that put on the Constitution, knowing full well it will just be another scar on the Constitution when Hillary Clinton makes and ammendment to lift the "prohibition", I realize this is just another one of the endless stream of promises broken, while he and his henchmen have strangled the lifeblood out of our ailing Country.

You know that this Government we've come to distrust so much could be completley shut down and rebuilt in a peaceful way? If all of us were to get together in the streets and just lay in the middle of them and not even move a muscle when their cops came out to drag us away, particularly in the big cities such as Chicago and New York. If we were to all stop paying taxes on April 15th if Ron Paul doesn't get elected and disband the IRS.
If enough of us, say the amount of Illegal and Legal Mexicans that shut down Chicago a while back, were to do this everyday starting tomorrow, we'd have them on their knees by the end of August. Not a single bullet fired, not a single bomb dropped..... that is, unless they fired on us like Kent State or Ruby Ridge.
But wouldn't that just serve to strengthen the Proletariat's resolve?

Six, there's an even faster way to do it.
Ghandi style resistance depends on your foe havin a conscience and being unwilling or unable to kill large numbers of people for no reason other than defiance.
Our foes do not have that vulnerability - just look how many folk are beaten or tasered to death just for not being servile enough when confronted by a cop - they'd have NO problem mowing us down and neither would blackwater, for that matter.
What they fear the very most isn't that, it's that we'll discover and exploit the weakness they DO have, and this is why in their eyes, Ed Brown must either die or be silenced.
Were we to collectively cut off the fountain of tax money they're guzzling from, the entire mechanism would grind to an utter halt in less than a week - they don't fear that so much cause there's not very much possibility of it when the individual themself fears a midnight no-knock SWAT team visit for failing to hand over the lions share with a polite yessa-masta like the de-facto slaves that we are, but they do fear the IDEA, cause in spite of the apologists and bootlickers and their every effort, there's still more of "us" than there are of "them" you see.
Enter disarmament, and public schools as a control mechanism besides, and it's a nice neat little gilded cage of cheap consumer products and mindless television in place of bread and circuses to keep the masses occupied - but if those masses ever in any truly significant way cut off the tax, it's the end for em and they know it.
The concept is simple, the execution near impossible, because people prefer the security of the cage and thus pretend not to see the bars, or make lame excuses for em.
