Damn, I can't win! I was trying, in my stumbling and ineffectual way, to apologize. I love the board, and the folks around (most of them, leastways), but I can't seem to refrain from hurting feelings, even when I'm trying desperately not to. Posting as a unphotogenic lurker, my 2 cents worth is that what I'm seeing here is a familial community of peeps working out common human tensions. The sort where miscommunications arise from the vagaries of RL and, dare I say it, that Serenifly is understood, albeit unconsciously, to be pretty much a thing of the past. In the sense that what's left is the community Joss Whedon's 'verse has spawned. Such that all we have remaining to hold ourselves together -- yes, I include myself -- is... each other. Such that this shiny website, websites like it, and sci-fi conventions and so forth are what keep us together as a community.
Well, it's a gorram shiny community. I thank you all for the parts you have played within it, and, especially, for your continuing participation.
Also, all of the womenfolk posting their pix here are hawt! As I'm sure are the gents. But hey, I'm wired the way that I is.
Yer all my kinda stupid.
