Thanks guys. Orion is a great little horse and it was relaxing to know he would be good, as opposed to the tension from riding my horse who doesn't always behave (Orion isn't mine).

Granted...it's weird and combines boredom with periods of frantic stress... oh well it's money:)
Mav I am sending wishes of jobs your way and I had an idea...well 2 ideas
1- your local Small Business Association will know of any local business that are receiving a loan and expanding and that might be a valuable resource..
2- Have you tried apply with the State govt?? They always need managers and such. Boring , I know, but hey.
3- Banks they have the right hours and you're probably all set to be a loan officer or some such with just a bit of training...

I personally don't care if someone takes a sick day right on a weekend, to extend it, because it really doesn't affect my work, and I don't really care about the people I work with too much. However, if my work depended on others', and they had taken a sick day, then I would certainly want some tangible proof that they were indeed sick, and not just taking a long weekend. :)
Oh, and one reason you're single is that you live way too far away for me to commute there for a date night.
