Degrassi - The Next Generation

I'm not even going to TRY to figure this out, but this Canadian show has got me addicted. I had no idea there was any such a thing as the 'Degrassi' series of shows, until I saw them being played on a DTNG marathon on The N (?) And just what the hellis 'The N', anyway??? . As Buffy put it..." I'm so mentally challenged!!" Maybe the fact that it's Canadian and I have no clue about most of Canadian t.v.....From the looks of it, Degrassi isn't as cheesy as 'Saved by the Bell', nor is it the meladrama of 90210 It's just got a strange feel to it, something I can't explain.

And btw, I'm way too friggin old to be wasting my time on this stuff, so why is it captivated me ?

Canadian Browncoats, please help. What's the deal here ? Have I come down with some compulsive need to watch all things Canadian?

Ok, so this isn't some 'brand new show', but it's still the 1st I've heard of it. Kinda reminds me of that MTV series that played several years ago, for ' young' adults. Still though, something about it made me watch.

I must be working far too much.
