Greetings,
I was just curious if theres any browncoat groups near Wichita, KS? Or if theres any browncoat group lists anywhere.. a few google searches came up with nothing :(

First off, welcome to the 'Verse Nullifi. Nice to see you here.

I see this is your first time posting. We love to see new folks. How did you come to see Firefly or Serenity? We love to hear the stories!

Oh, and you have to have your browncoat... all new folks ( if I get to them! ) get a 'coat of their own.

*hands Nullifi a browncoat from the storeroom*

There'll be some folks along to offer you strawberries and such.

In answer to your questions:

There are some fellow 'coats close to Wichita, KS and I'm sure they'll sign on eventually and say hi.

Here's where you go to see all the yahoo groups and state groups to see if there is one close to you.

Go to www.bigdamnboard.com and click on the link on the left that says Local Groups.

Thanks a lot. Tis a sad story how I came into Firefly. I was one of the few actually saw it on fox. And wondered after missing a single weeks episode "Wait.. last week there was this show I watched.. where did it go.."

I actually had never even thought to look for communities about it. After Serenity came out I kind of just lurked around fff.net and started listening to The Signal. Just yesterday I finally bought Done the Impossible and now I have a sudden desire to be more involved :(

I feel really bad about it actually. I wish I had been around back when all the boards and stuff cropped up. Oh well, guess its never too late, eh?
