Bonde do Role - Bondallica

Discovered these guys yesterday. They're Brazilian dance with funk and metal/rock. Bizarre but so unbelievably catchy!

"Shiny! Let's be bad guys."

"Lets go get stoned", by Sublime.

"I refuse to submit,
To the god you say is kind.
I know what's right, and it is time,
It's time to fight, and free our minds!

Our spirits were forged in snow and ice,
To bend like steel forged over fire.
We were not made to bend like reed,
Or to turn the other cheek!"

- from the song "Thousand Years of Opression" by Amon Amarth

Sweet Surrender - Sarah McLachlan

Post-concert listening to give my eyes and ears a rest. Skinny Puppy was in town yesterday my dad sort of surprised me otherwise I would've told you guys yesterday. The opening acts sucked but Skinny Puppy was awesome once they got into it so it was worth it. It was basically all the hardcore fans in the center headbanging (not to mention getting blinded by the signature Skinny Puppy backgrounds), all the emos in the corners looking menacing and barely moving, and then inbetween were all of the very interesting dancers. We were around the edge of the headbanging crowd so we could see the dancing. It was at the Kool Haus, same place as BLS.

What is best in life?
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women...

Glad you enjoyed!

Prosthetics - Slipknot

One of my favorite 'Knot songs. Quite a slow-burning, moody, atmospheric tune

Rumors of my Demise have Been Greatly Exaggerated- Rise Against.
Long ass name, kick ass song.
Quick question- has anyone here ever done a Wall of Death (A.K.A. Braveheart?)

-Danny

Could it have been something I said,
Or was it something that I did,
Did I ruin my chance, have you written me off?
Tell me, where did I cross the line,
And can I work my way back this time?
Will I always regret this decision...

THRICE RULES!!!!!!!!!
My Master went to the Moon in a Rocket of Flamin' Cheese!

I LIKE CHEESE!!!
