Apparently I heard today (Friday 25th May 2007) is Star Wars Day!! Is that true!?

If so, we need to strike back with another Firefly day!

Naw. Star Wars Day is May 4th (May the fourth be with you). But we so need an official Browncoat Day or somethin'.

I don't know about that, but Cineimax is playing all the Star Wars movies in episode sequence today.

We've got one. June 23rd is Serenity Day; the date of Joss Whedon's birth and also of the first screenings of the movie. Charity screenings for Equality Now are organized around this day.
(Today, May 25th, is the date of Douglas Adams's birth, and is Towel Day.
May 4th sounds right for Star Wars Day)

Today is the 30th anniversary of the release of the original Star Wars.

Which is why I'm gathering with some friends to watch the old, unspecial, Han shoots first version this evening.
