Sheer genious.

Same here. I don't know why so many people hate this show. At least NBC let Sorkin and Co. finish up their run, which is more than FOX ever did for Joss.
And it looks like they're going to go all out with these remaining episodes. Hey, if you're going out, might as well go out swinging.

I really missed it to. There's not a whole lot of witty dialogue like that floating around in TV Land.
And the irony is that I finally got my husband hooked on the show just before they yanked it.
We watched it together tonight and laughed OUT LOUD.
Anyone else wonder why Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford were both off the episode tonight? I know they "explained" it in the story, but still seems weird.

Well, tonight's ep was supposed to be next weeks ep, and next weeks ep was supposed to be this weeks. And with the "Breaking news" that happens next week it was supposed to take them out for a while. Why they did this I don't know.
So I don't know if they'll re-edit next weeks ep to make sense, or if NBC will pull a FOX and run eps out of order and make no sense.

Probably a scheduling conflict. Like how Zoe was unconcious for most of Out Of Gas so Gina could go get married.

Within the first 30 seconds of the episode starting I remembered why I loved this show so much! The writing is some of the best currently on television!
I also loved the scenes between Allison Janney and "Cal" (Tim Busfield), it was like watching "C.J." and "Danny" again. I was sad there was no scene between Allison and Brad though.
Still, great writing on a show that was too smart for network television. As one previous poster stated, at least NBC is allowing the final six episodes to air, which is more than FOX did for Joss.

I am so happy to see it back on.
Absolutely brilliant.

It was nice to have her on the show.
I hope they sell the DVDs.

Ooooh, I'll definitely buy the DVD set.
But I don't know what I'll do without an Aaron Sorkin show on the air. I'll just have to watch Tim Minear's new....oh, wait. That got cancelled too.
Guess I'm down to Heroes and Lost. Kinda sad state of TV.
Studio 60 is smart television -- I'll miss it when it's gone. Gonna enjoy the last few moments, though.

There may have been a scheduling conflict with Whitford but I thought it was just to show how the show itself is actually run during the recording, which Jordan and Matt wouldn't really be involved with.
I too am really glad to see it back and wish it wasn't going away!!! The dialogue was amazing as usual and Jack's drunkness was hilarious. Can't wait for next week.
