Again with the "cheapen" Wash's death.

I think of Wash's death like a bad marriage.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.
The ceremony was nice.
But now the spouse is revealed to be a vile, abusive, dim-witted lout.
But you wouldn't want to get a divorce because
it would "cheapen" the marriage?!

Book's death had value and made sense.
But you can't "cheapen" a "Cheap Shot".
While some may think Wash's death was a good idea at the time,
I haven't heard ANYONE say, "Boy I sure am glad Wash is dead!"
