I'm not a grad student Causal, only undergrad. If I were doing a postgrad degree it would be called a thesis. I am (for the next two weeks anyway) studying history.
It was great handing it in but that was followed by blind panic as i have no idea what the hell i am going to do now.

No, I'm sorry Deb. I read about your troubles; they sound many. I would help if I could but I haven't had need to recover lost files, and most of my important stuff is kept backed up on a jump drive just in case. Though most of the pic files are backed up rather less traditionally: Photobucket. Thankfully I have no worries that they'll wipe away any of the ones I took myself (they do sweeps for 'copyright infringements' from time to time) so they should all be safe there and I can always get them again if anything nasty gets to my comp, which I take great pains to avoid.
Waaaa! *is glomped* Hi! Yeah, I've not been around much I know. And no, new job is not going well for me; I quit today. Monday sees me skimming the classifieds, talking to employment agencies, and getting my old school records so I can finish my school and financial aid apilication stuff. Should be a fun time. It's good to see you again! 
I should really get on myspace; I've let it go for more than two weeks now.
Odd that you could see my pic but not hers, Jimi. We're both using the bucket. The feds don't seem very thorough
