Well, the 'verse just got a wee bit smaller. I really enjoyed my visit down there, the campus is awesome and I am in love with Gordo's.

No kidding! Although it kinda bums me out that you were just visiting. Is your friend a BSG fan and browncoat as well?
I haven't eaten at Gordo's although I also pass right by there everyday too. I fly down that hill that leads up to the stadium on my bike coming back from campus and see all those people eating cubans outside. I frequent the pizzeria right down the street but I'll get up there eventually.

Stop by Gordo's sometime, it's well worth it. Mystic Pizza? Is that the place you were talking about? Gods, there were so many places to eat down there, the variety was overwhelming. I also dig that greek place down by Gumby's Pizza (which was good too)
I sat in on the test screening of Cosmos, that final project from the film school when I was there, that was cool to be able to just show up and offer feedback.
I stayed in the Wesley fellowship hall. Those guys are extremely nice down there. My friend, who is in the picture, sadly doesn't watch a whole lot of anything, Firefly or BSG. But I did steal his TV to watch Crossroads Part 1 when I was down there.
