Hotel Info for LA Serenity Convention

Hello,

Some of you already saw the news on Whedonesque regarding the LA Serenity Convention Nov 2-4th.

Many posters gave some good info on hotels there already. I wanted to let you all know about another hotel I found in the same area. I can't post on Wedonesque, but maybe someone can post this info overthere:

Days Inn Hollywood near Universal Studios
7023 Sunset Blvd
Hollywood, CA 90028
323-464-8344

I found rooms for $109/night includes coffee & breakfast

Shuttles from LAX are $15.00/ per person

From looking at Mapqest, the hotel is walking distance from all the events (half mile)

Hope this helps because I guessing the local hotels may fill up soon!

Are you thinking about going? Do let me know! It will be fun to meet other 'cool' Browncoats!

This will be my first Convention ever! November will be a great month for me to get away. The Browncoat cruise does look like fun, it's just December is a busy month for me.

I believe this hotel is one of the best deals if you can reserve now. I wil be traveling from Seattle. And I will share any good airline deals when I find them.

I AM thinking of going... but that's it, at this point it's just thinking.

The con sounds exciting and it sounds like they are going to have lots of BDH's there. And if they get Nathan... well, I may have to go into debt. LOL

Thanks for the deal sharing.. and as we get closer to the time we have to make a decision those of us going will have to keep in touch so we can get together when we all get there.

If you do decide to come....you can always crash on our hotel floor. I'll bring a sleeping bag for you!

Didn't you meet Nathan before? Was if B3 or something?

Yes, I met him at B3 and it was the best experience of my life behind the birth of my two daughters. I know that sounds a bit silly, but I mean the WHOLE experience of B3, not just meeting Nathan. Because I got to meet Hera and MalNourished and MalGal and MALicious and Oldfogey and DizzyEllie and NYPinTa and BelowZero... and I could go on and on. I got to meet a lot of my Appreciatin' Nathan crew members and I had a blast!

I also got to meet Mark Shephard who is the sweetest man and very handsome when he's not being Badger.

Also got to meet Jonathan Woodward and he's hot. And sweet... and terribly funny. Also met Alan who breezed by me, but said hi.

I also got to see the Bedlam Bards and they are awesome fun! I could go on and on... it was a wonderful time.

I hope you get to go to the con, you'll treasure the experience the rest of your life.. and you'll want to go to every BC oriented con from now on too... I promise. LOL
