Note, BSG has a shot at being #4 into the hall of fame; however, they need to, on the average, beat Gunsmoke by an average of 200 votes a day; since Feb 1 they have only been beating them by about 70 Votes a day.

A few additional observations; Gunsmoke is about 2, maybe 3 days, from passing Nikita. It is also about a week from passing Farscape. Farscape needs to nearly double their votes to stay ahead of Gunsmoke.

BSG is about 18 days from popping up into the top10; displacing Queer as Folk from the covetted #10 slot.

I've replaced spaces in the titles so if anyone wants to paste this into a spread sheet they can just parse on "space". I've also chopped out all shows which got less than 10 votes or averaged less than 10 for the previous week.

Based on current typical votes for top 40 shows, a show needs about 100 votes a day to even have a chance to make a run to the top; and needs more like 200 to make it in any reasonable time. The votes above are mostly typical; the only shows currently with much of a shot at top 40 are
Highway to Heaven -that 252 is a "typical but rising vote"; they just seem to keep gaining more steam.
DarkShadows - the 120 is fairly average. Long haul, but they could make it at that pace.
Beyond that, I notice that "The L Word"; which after dropping out of the top 40 initially got almost no votes, is starting to pick up steam the last few days. This may mean the show's fans have decided to make another run for the top 40; they need to double their vote pace to pull it off; but since they've just started trying, I would not assume they cannot do this.

My personal Fav for making a run to the top is "Mister Roger's". Currently we are lacking enough for a full run to the top; but we continue to make headway, having gotten to postion 28 recently. Hoping it might pick up steam as it rises to the top of the nomination list.
