Oh, yay! That's a relief. There's a small list of people on the boards that I don't mind pissing off a little, but you're not on it.
And don't be feeling guilty over your RPG past. I'm 30 and I'm still in my RPG phase. In fact, I'm looking forward to the release of the Star Wars Saga Edition Game more than I am the end of the school year. That might just make me the biggest nerd in the thread. Ho-yeah!

That's the real trick: get a group that just wants to have fun. If the group is playing purely for escapism because their life sucks, it's probably not going to be a good time. If, on the other hand, they play because it's fun to game, that will be a good group. Move on out to Iowa and we'll role you up a character. Sit around the table with mixed drinks, dice, friends, and play Star Wars. So fun.
