I heart celtic music.

Oh, and I like women. ALL women. I can find something I like in almost every single one. :)

HA-HA! Agreement.

Yes they're very... pretty
And Skilled. I just found out that one is 16 years old. I had no idea, she doesn't look it and her skill definitely makes you think otherwise.

I love Celtic music myself (yes, Enya as well, and Lorreena McKennit) and this music is lovely, but I can't watch the show, they're so very obviously lip synching (just watch closely) so it ruins it for me. But just to have the music, it's very lovely. And the female fiddler player was on Micheal Flatley's Lord of the Dance tour.

If I'm a bitch, then life just got interesting

Lip-syncing? I don't know. If you're talking about the New Journey DVD, it did seem like the sound was just a little off (almost unnoticeable), but it seemed to apply to the entire show. God, that would really suck if they were. Though, I don't know.

Edit: I looked at the DVD again, I take it back, the sound matches up fine. I checked for reviews on Celtic Woman that talk about lip-syncing and all the ones I found were talking about an earlier show, not the one I'm talking about. Maybe they were lip-syncing in that other one, I don't know, but in this one I don't think they are.

I saw part of that. And I thought it was fantastic. The women are obviously very talented and I enjoyed the fiddle player very much.

Only, I could never figure out why the woman 2nd from the left has to hold her arms out that way. She always had her arms bent like that, and it bothered me.

Other than that, gorgeous.

Yes, I can back you up.

I saw them in the UK before I moved home. They are FANTASTIC. Raise the hair on the back of your neck fantastic. The PBS program I saw had them doing a version of Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring that would make Mal cry!

I saw them live in Dallas last night. It was obvious that on some of the songs they were lip synching (and pipe-play synching, and harp-play synching) The drummers were the best part of the show--everything they did was live. I just want to know how the violinist can jump around wildly with absolutely no effect on the tonal clarity of her strings? Now THATS the mystery.

I've seen them live a couple times with no lip-sync'ing going on.

Have not heard this group. However I have heard wonderful Celtic Music, and it is a style which offers a medium for enchanting vocal work.

But keep in mind that some people, who are tagged as offensive, cannot fathom the purpose of any noise other than loud thudding instruments banging upon their skulls so the emptiness inside their head can resonate. Partly why it's called "head banger's" music.
