I love the exsposure we're getting! Think about it. We're beating shows that are STILL ON THE AIR! We're a show that only has 14 total episodes, that's half a season of TV, and we're in 3rd place, and giving 2nd place a run for it's money! That's amazing!!! Sure, Xena is gonna be tough to catch, but let's put this in perspective here. How many seasons do they have? Comparitavly speaking, we shouldn't even be in the top 40! But there we are, at number 3 and closing on number 2 fast!
It kind of reminds me of something along the lines of what Jayne said. Our show was canceled after half as season. That's the worst "end" we could've been given. But we took that end and well.......we took it! And that's saying something!
I've been to a few different boards of some of the other shows. Many have asked, "Has anyone heard of the show in 3rd? Firefly?" Then someone will answer, "Yeah. It's actually really good. I never saw the show, but I saw the movie, Serenity. It was really good so I went out and bought the show. I recomend it. It's very unique." or similar responses.
My point is this. There are thousands of people voting and there are thousands of people checking the top spots. I think when we pass Bonanza, a lot of people will notice that too! That is potentially a lot of new Browncoats!!!

A bit of excitement in the rankings... Lexx will amost surely pass Roswell tomorrow, then QaF the day after. Roswell then will take a postion over QaF in about 4 days.
Roswell needs to kickup to about 280 votes a day if they want to retain a top 10 position. Ponderosa and Larami will displace it from top10 if they fail to do this.

Just noticed this, not Firefly-vote related, but still.
How in god's name did Little House On The Prairie end up in the tv thingy, with 10.000 votes?!
Come on.. it can't possibly have that many devoted fans, can it?

There's a strong contingent of Michael Landon fans out there. Apparently, they "discovered" the TV_Vote site a couple months ago; or perhaps re-discovered it. In any case, it appears that LHotP not only got the Landon fan votes, but the "Western" fan votes.
Personally, I like the show and am happy to see it in the top 40. I'll go as far to say I'd like to see it ahead of Bonanza. Unfortunately, I'd rather not see it ahead of BsG... And of course, I would not want to see it ahead of Firefly; but I hope that "goes without saying" ;-)
At their current vote rate, they have a potential top5; however, it's possible they will lose votes from folks who don't want LHotP to pass their particular show... so who knows?
In fact, the Landon fans are now pushing Highway to Heaven. At their current vote rate; and the likely "target to replace on top40 (Cleopatra 2525, The L-word will mostly likely be displaced by Combat!)"'s rate, I estimate HtH will be top40 in about 4 months based on current voting trends.
