PR I hope that your car gets fixed right and everything is Ok. My older son had a problem with his truck the other day. I know nothing about these new computerized parts but I think it was the Catilizer which is a nothing part but it got fixed. Sleep well :)

I went through the same thing with the dealership when Dora wouldn't start a few months ago. They checked it over and over and couldn't see why she was shorting out and wouldn't start occasionally. I got stranded at grocery stores, work, you name it.

"Bring it in if it happens again."
"We can't get it to Not Start"

Ya Moron, I can't bring it in if it don't start now can I???

Luckily, someone figured it out after 6 tries at the dealership.
Keep breathing. Cars are a necessary evil.

Can the mechanic give you "a note" that you could keep in your car explaining that the spedometer is malfunctioning and that they are trying to diagnose it? Could keep you from getting a speeding ticket.

Good luck PR...though you may wish to check your gas tank for a golf ball ( sounds weird I know, but it will cause a problem only when the car has driven a long distance and then when you stop, the car will go right back to working fine)
