Jane Espenson to pen a few episodes!

Jane Espenson, a head writer on Buffy since season 3 (claims she's "third in line" over at Buffy after Marti and Fury), said in an interview with The Succubus Club ( http://www.thesuccubusclub.com/ ) that she's going to be splitting writing duties between Firefly and Buffy. This is great news, as Jane is one of the most talented humor-related writers I've ever seen (she's also great at the dramatic eps. too!).

She also mentions occasionally visiting message boards! Hey, Jane! If you wanna drop by and post or something... that'd be *amazing*! Just make sure we know it's really you and not an imposter!

Hmm...

Maybe if you try opening the mp3 directly through a program like quicktime or windows media (the "Open URL in new window" function ro something) it will work? I don't know, I'm not much of the computer-help guy.

That's great! I love Jane's stuff. She's one of the best writers Buffy has in my opinion. It'll be neat to see her spinning some sci-fi into her comedic style.

Indeed, it is great! I totally agree with everything you said. I also think that Jane is under-rated when it comes to her dramatic writing. The episode "After Life" was really good, IMO, and had a very memorable line of dialogue from Spike ("Every night, I've saved you.") I thought it was an incredibly powerful episode.
