Face and hair

I've been having a bit of fun with an old image of mine:

It occurred to me -- a long while ago already, while I was making it -- that I could superimpose another image over River's hairline (where her hair meets her face). Namely, when River looks at Mal at the end of the BDM, in the famous Love speech:

It's a very fitting image for the theme in question. Ok, here is the merged result. :) The superimposed image is very, very faint. It's called subtle. :) You're not even supposed to see it until you stare at it for a while. Ok, here goes:

They're lovely, really. But, how long do I have to stare - until my eyeballs pop? Can't see the superimposed, but, oh well. Maybe I'll come back to this tomorrow and try again.

LOL. :) I have my brightness set pretty high, so maybe I see it better that way. The noses and mouths are at the same height; and a bit above the nose, you can see her eye.

I can see where it is, bue I can't actually see it. Might be due to crappy work monitor, though.

I can see the outline of the nose, and my brightness and contrast are at 100%. It's still cool, but I feel kinda left out on some big secret - only a little, though.
