UK terrestrial angel taken off

I emailed channel 5 on monday asking where angel had gone, and this was the reply I got.

I also asked about Lexx, you can skip those bits if you dont like that.

I guess it wasnt getting good enough ratings.

Maybe they should have tried showing it at the same time every week and uncut!

I am so grateful I have Sky TV. Terrestrial TV in the UK really sucks!

Still, at least it wasn't as bad as when Channel 4 were showing Angel - six o'clock on a Friday with about ten minutes of 'unsuitable for the timeslot' stuff cut out! Um, hello? Why didn't they just show it at a decent time? It's an adult show - put it on when adults can watch it!

Oh, and I can't wait to see what fabulous *cough* new programmes Channel 5 show in Angel's place!

I'm being all ranty today. I'm in that kind of mood.
