So looking around your bar, and PR's ever tantalizing shots, and of course I-love-my-camera-and-my-camera-loves-me HK, and your qien-ren (sp), and everyone else who's posted here on the photo threads and those that don't but have equally earnest collections and devotion to the Big Damn Experience, I find I must ask: Is there something ruttin' wrong with us?? It has seeped into every corner of our existence!! If I didn't love it so much I wallow in it, I'd be scared! Does anyone else ever...wonder??

Your knack for Composition and Lighting is uncanny. The arc of the parasol's edge matches the arc of the background shadow exactly. Your upper arm lines up with the curtain, your forearm with the blanket. Your head becomes part of the parasol's spiral and the color and design of your sleeves suggest the parasol also.
I am dying to know how someone so obviously talented in matters artistic ever fell into an engineering field, organic not mechanical overtones notwithstanding. I became what I am by accident, biomedical implantation is a choice. Riddle me that would you? Please?

Do I wonder, JQ? Not really. I enjoy everything about this 'Verse, and don't think there is any reason to question our love and devotion for it. It is a wonder, and worthy of immersion.
Oh, and HK? Thanks for that shot! 
I agree with JQ regarding the lighting, composition, etc., but my first thought on seeing it was "OOh, the Kaylee coveralls! And she's got a parasol! Shiny!" So, thank you for the bubbly excitement you raised in me.
