Which is wierd 'cause Cassie can also fly.
Everytime I think of superhero jets now I think of that Batman/Superman issue that had Robin in the batplane and Superboy tagging along outside.
"Can I fly the jet?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Remember what happened when I let you drive the car?"
". . . Batman had to order a new car."

I never understood the WW thing. Magic lasso and kewl bracelets that can bounce bullet w/ out shattering her wrist....ok, fine. Big deal. But the whole invisible jet thing....how does THAT make any sense ? Do Amazon women fly invisible jets ? Do they have some sort of super stealth technology suitable for 20th ( or 21st ) century aviation? And what are Amazon women building these invisible jets out of ?
It's easy to see that I don't follow her character beyond Lynda Carter's lame 70's t.v. show. But WW is about as lame a 'super'hero as The Phantom with his standard issue sidearm.

Actually, for a superhero with a Schizoid Personality Disorder, Batman has more friends and confidants than I do.

Alfred: Looks on Bruce as a surrogate son and tries to protect him.
Dick: Not sure, think they may have had a falling out after Infinite Crisis and the obliteration of Bludhaven.

Stephanie: Dead.
Vickie: Not sure how she fits into the comicverse.
Selina: Moved on with her life (after being betrayed by Batman) and now has a child by another man.
Babs: Crippled.
Jim Gordon: Retired.
Cassie Cain: Used to be a surrogate daughter, but has now turned evil.
Helena: Not a friend.
Clark: Bruce's best friend, and one of the few metahumans who still trusts him.
(Y'know, it's really amazing how much Batman and his "family" has grown and changed and developed while Superman is still in basically the same place as he was was ten years ago.)

Personally, Batman's all right in my book.
The reason why he got a bad wrap is because Superman gave him a Kryptonite ring and told him that should he (Superman) ever lose control, Batman shouldn't be afraid to take him out. He felt Batman was the only one who was worthy and capable of that task. Batman thought, "What if everyoneshould lose control?" then proceeded to find their weaknesses and stockpile Bat-antisuperhero weapons. Everyone in the JL found out, and it didn't improve his rep. there. Only Superman really forgave him. But then, of course...Superman started it.
In a lot of ways Clark is more human than all of us, and I know it's hard not to think of him as a god when you see him shooting fire from the sky. We should all consider ourselves fortunate that that thought has never occured to him. --Batman
