I had a very nice day today! Went ice skating with my two friends from high school. The friends I've had the longest! It was much fun. We skated for about 4 hrs and I didn't fall once! We did our yearly catching up chit-chatting. And then we ran a few errands, met up with a husband and went to this wonderful Italian restaurant and had a fabulous meal. They brought us special bread and tasty wine and gave all three of us female-types roses and the waiter complimented me on my Italian (I know two words: please and thank you, but I can say them well) and I had this fantastic dessert that was just fruit and cream but oh so good!

I am full and tired and happy.

My day was not at all ruined by stalkery phone calls from the pacific north west.

stalkery phone calls? What, from the whole of the pacific northwest?

Am i missing something?

Ah, i like days like that, i'm glad you had fun.

I had yummy food yesterday too (well, yummy desert) it was a chocolate mousse with a chocolate sauce centre - i thought i was going to feel really ill by the end of it, but it was so light and just the right sweetness, so if you make it to England again, you and me are going to the nearest Thorntons coffee shop to have the nicest chocolate mousse in the known verse.

But not at christmas, because at christmas there are rather to many ignorant people getting stressed and imparing the chocolate appreciation.

Yup! I'm being stalked by the whole pacific northwest! They're big fans!

That mousse sounds divine! Consider it a date!

Oh! That sounds like fun.
The playing Barbies with the niece.... not that the manhandling sounds un-fun...... But, I just got back from family time. I got to play Thomas the train with my Nephew. He loves Thomas. He has two Thomas tracks and two Thomas trains. He likes to put them both on the same track. Unfortunately, one runs faster than the other and always comes around and knocks the slower one off. Hey, at least he's not setting them up for head on collisions......yet.

You have Thomas the Tank Engine over there? Cool, I never thought he'd be a hit accross the pond - too pastoral.

I still like Thomas the Tank Engine (or Train) i remember my brother having a set a bit like that as well.

Well, they have all descended again, joy, and i have to go battle for access to the bathroom, so wish me luck!
