Missing Friends From Long Ago

Well, crap. I just got all sentimental. I haven't been a regular on this site in a long while, and after a few minutes of cruising around, I began to realize how many friends I had back then that I've lost. It sucks. Back in the glory days of FFF.net, when Zol posted his musings, when Hotpoint ruled the fanfic world, when Fredep, CosmicFugitive, and many others passed the time in the chatroom called the Juggled Gosling. I dunno why I'm posting. I just miss it all.

I may be relatively new to FFF.net, but I know the feeling just the same. Makes you want to curl up in a ball, cry, and .. uummm... *cough* I mean life goes on, I keep looking toward the horizon and I won't stop til life stops me.

I know there's still some oldtimers around. Browncoat1 is still prolific, InevitableBetrayal (formerly Causal), Msckaren, Msg, Chrisisall,... others...
At least, I think they still are.

Mostly lurked back then, but there were a lot of good folk who posted a lot of funny and thought provoking things. *sigh* Damn nostalgia.

I started lurking in January of 2003 and finally joined in September of 2005. There are some from "yesteryear" that drop in from time to time, but there are those who have just... moved on. Even last year seems like an eternity ago at times.
I still merrily frequent fff.net, but it is not the same fff.net that turned me on to my first fandom ever at age 41 (then). What a fantastic and eclectic group of people! You all rock (still).
