Now for punishment, you must summarize the entire nine year X-Files mythology including all species of aliens, all plots, all counter-plots, and all government involvement in less than 50 words.
Well, Carter didn't answer my questions, so maybe you can.
There's no way I'll feel alright about ruining the most shocking Buffy development ever... but I'll try to move on
There's no excuse for my behavior! But thanks for your forgiveness, anyway!NOW... for the X-Files summary...
Um... 50 word or less, eh? I can do it in 3.
"The Smoking Man."
That's it.
X-Files bothered me from season two until the movie, which I enjoyed, and then till season 9. I just don't get the appeal... maybe if I'd have watched it religiously, I would have been sucked in... but as it is, I can't say I ever liked it.

You *are* aware that the same creative team behind Buffy is the team behind Firefly, are you not? If you like Buffy so much, there is a *great big heaping chance* that you'll enjoy Firefly just as much, if not more! It's a very original concept, a Space Western, and just because it is science fiction placed in space does not mean that it is at all similar to Star Trek and Star Wars. Joss Whedon, the creator of both Firefly and Buffy, has stated that it will in fact be that "Anti-Star Trek" and that there will be no aliens, which automatically eliminates all similarities to Star Wars, a series based *entirely* on non-human characters. There are also some amazing writers behind Firely, so I think you're cursing it before you even give it a chance.

I also loved Babylon 5, but I'm really annoyed that a spinoff-series never seems to succeed.
B5 was a great series, & there is so much story left to tell!
Here is what I'd like to do to the stupid network-executives who keep screwing up B5's chances to go on--
