The terrible way that fux has treated Firefly fans is absolutely shameful. From trying to ruin the show by showing the eps out of order, to cancelling the show, to delaying the DVD's, to ending the OB with NO NOTICE, there is no end to their treachery. What has happened over at the OB has got me thinking, though, and that isn't always a good thing.

What do we do if something terrible happens to FFF.net? I won't list any of the possibilities because that would be tempting fate, and you guys have your own imaginations. Where shall we all meet if we need to "evacuate the base"? I, myself, really don't want to drift around the internet like flotsam and jetsam looking for my Firefly family. What is Contigency Plan A?

What a sad twisted irony. We would be as Mal & crew. On our own little Firefly floating round the verse, so we all keep breathing. I can't see how they could touch this site though. Nevertheless, there are lotsa other FF sites on the web, I gues we would just have to ask nicely. "We just ask Serenity to knock for us." I think its sad what happened to our fellow browncoats. I had a drink or two at the "Serenity Saloon" The folk there we a tight knit bunch, hate to think of the loon burned to the ground by a bunch of gorram fox execs. On a positive note, The Capn & Jayne (Nathan & Adam) used to post there from time to time. Oh the joy if they popped in here & said HI

Heaven forbid, but plenty of other things could happen that might disrupt FFF.net. I'm not so much worried about the fox execs, per se. (Where the Romans worried about the Visigoths?) I never really looked for other FF sites. I have all my FF needs fulfilled here. What other sites are there?

And YES, that would be super-cool if Nathan and Adam graced us with their presence!

This site and myself will be around for a long time.

There. I said it. Did that help any? Really, I don't know what else to say that would alleviate fans' fears of this site not being around.

On the subject of other Firefly fans and this site. There is no such thing as "other" Firefly fans. Personally, it doesn't matter where the Firefly fans come from. If you like Firefly, you're a fan, and therefore you are welcome on this site. It's as simple as that.

After all, It's FIREFLYFANS.NET--a network of Firefly fans, which is inclusive.

I love this site. I have it set as my homepage for a reason. But in the event of something rather extreme, I'll probably hang around Firefly Sock Puppet Theatre even more.
