Hey just thought I'd put this out there so that I can discuss an out take and not just what was put in the movie and the show.

Quite possibly one of the funniest things to come out of Firefly/Serenity: in an out take after the destruction of Haven, Nathan, instead of following the script, runs up to the crew and says:

'Rope the bodies together, put the Sheppard in the centre, the place of honour. Kaylee, where's that kid, we need a hood ornament'.

If you haven't seen it, you honestly need to. It's ten times funnier than I can describe.

Mal gives control of the ship to Zoe...
Mal: If I'm not back in an hour, you come, and you rescue me.
Zoe: What? And risk my ship?

Yes that one does seem to be one of everyone's favorites. My favorite outtake is probably the one where Mal is being a "back spaceship driver" Alan and Nathan are so funny! I almost died when Alan Tudyk yelled "I'll be in my bunk!" as he was leaving the room. I also liked the one when Alan messed up the one line: "Let's get back to the part where Jayne is beat up by a 90-year-old....man"
They're all hilarious though!

Oh, how fondly I remember re-enacting that "dirt nap with baby Jesus" bit at Moonlight Rising. Another one that got me was when Alan blew his line about Reaver space and went, "They just float out there, sending out reav-rav-reading parties..." That and Nathan's reaction always crack me up.

And, of course: "SUMMER!!!!"

Poor Summer. I wonder if she wearied of it after a while....

Awesome!! I love that outtake. The graphic is priceless. I've seen an outtake that's from The Message, where Nathan keeps moving into the shot. So at first he's standing next to Morena, and then he's standing next to Sean and Summer, then he's next to Jewel. And at first I didn't really see what was wrong, and then everybody's cracking up and I am too. So, then he climbs onto Tracey's (I forget the actors real name) and they're holding each other. It's hilarious!!! I laughed myself into a tizzy over that.

I used the Prayer spoken by Book when Serenity arrives at Haven on one of my youtube fanvids, which was cut from the BDM. As Book ends the prayer...

Mal: I hope that ain't for me.
Book: It's a prayer for the dead.
Mal: Then I really hope it ain't for me.

Gotta be Adam's "Man am i a s*it pilot!" from the extended Firefly Outtakes. That, and the guy falling of the buggy in "Train Job".

Oh, and Nathan hitting the glass floor a bit too many time for Serenity, and nobody noticing!!!

Jewel's reaction to Nathan and his ' baby jesus ' line is indeed priceless. That whole scene is by far my favorite.
