I hope it helps. Otherwise I can't suggest anything else, than bying the DVDs :) Actually Lexx has a lot in common with Firefly, although it gets more like a parody of many things on TV in the later seasons. It's about misfitted escaped prisoners, who steal Lexx - a living ship, that is the most powerful weapon of destruction in the two universes.
Enough said, I don't wanna jam your thread with my show :) I only hope I awakened the interest.
