OK, since we have two REALLY long threads around here to make Firefly number 1, I thought I would combine them and create one single thread.

Good job TPage, I was literally making a new one when I saw this.
If you don't know already, you can vote once an hour. We are currently in fifth place behind Farscape, Le Lame Nikita, Bonanza, and Xena: Warrior Princess, but just a month or so ago we were in eighth place. WE ARE ADVANCING AND PULLING IN THE MOST VOTES PER DAY!
Just yesterday we pulled in over 800 votes for the first time and frankly I don't see why we, the most devoted fan base in all of fandom can't pull in over 1000 a day. Plus, some tips for getting in extra votes include:
1) if you have a wireless card and live in the city or an apartment complex, or maybe even suburbia, try picking up someone else's signal and voting from there (I'm able to get in two an hour instead of just one)
2)Vote from home/vote from work/vote from cell phone
3)get friends to vote/vote on friends computers
4)spread the word to other firefly boards
And if you need the extra encouragement to go vote, someone over on the Bonaza boards was gloating about how they "stepped on Firefly." I ain't gonna let that one slide.

I agree with your advice. And spread the word to other boards. And to fans not on the internet. phone, cajole, e-mail.
We're slowly getting in more and more votes. In October we were averaging about 550 a day. We're now regularly getting in the high 700s. That must surely be attributed to more awareness.

I vote daily, a bad day gives me 5 votes, a good one upwards to 14 votes a day. And I have been spreading the news... We have been gaining on Bonanza since I first found this place out so they have no right to talk like that!

In the last 35 (I don't always get Saturdays) days they've pulled in more votes than us only 4 times.
Everyone out there go back inside; or I will blow a new crater into this little moon.
Perhaps my data has somehow been corrupted...
Does anyone else have a track of Bonanza's & our numbers?
Well folks, it seems the Bonanzai have us right where we want them. Time to pull out the stops and introduce them to the inevitable. We spotted them a few 10's of thousands of votes. Let's take 'em back.
