I saw it last night during Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel and taped it. Very impressive.

For those who haven't seen it:

Looks like we have another winner here. I hope so, because I like the last two. Can I hold my breath until May?

Indeed. I for one have been a fan of Sam Raimi's work ever since Darkman.

Let's just hope that for Spider-Man 4, he doesn't let Joel Schumacher get his hands on the franchise.

Or Brett Ratner.

I like it. I especially like that they don't seem to be doing the "let's introduce Venom all at once" thing. Looks like he gets the symbiote costume in this one and defeats it by the end (allowing closure).

We'll probably see Venom in Spidey 4, and get a whole movie to deal with him. Maybe Carnage could show up as early as Spidey 5. . .

By the way, for those who don't already know, Topher Grace is Eddie Brock.

Yeah, it's exciting. Granted, I'm a geek, so I probably saw it posted on like twenty of the websites I regular the day it came out. But, yeah it looks great. I have a lot of faith in Sam and I think that like Joss, and Kevin Smith (imho) they're directors you can constantly count on to be fanboys through and through. That means that they (usually) make quality work that geeks can enjoy. And there can never be enough of that. I am a little wary though, mostly because when I saw the trailer for X3 I was standing up and cheering in the theater, and we all know how that ended. I am really excited about it, though. I will see it, just like I saw X3 and left history be the judge.
