Excellent notion , Teachdaire ! There is a connection , actually . Rutan and Allen's joint venture contracted with Branson's Virgin Galactic for the purpose of building the next-generation (SpaceShip2) of passenger-carrying spaceships .
It would be great if Branson and Allen would collaborate to re-light our Firefly !
If they acquired the rights together , a Branson company could distribute Firefly content in the UK and the rest of the EEU , and one of Mr. Allen's companies could distribute here in North America . They'd work out some sort of arrangement to carve up the rest of the world , and soon there'd be growing hordes of Browncoats on every continent !

Do you think we should send DVD sets to them? I suppose all three get loads of fan mail (maybe Paul Allen not so much, although his name being in the papers with SpaceShipOne might have upped his profile a bit). It's worth a try, I suppose, although I'm not sure finding the addresses would be easy.
