Totally amazing, as is everything you create. If I hadn't bought a Big Damn Pass to Flan II I'd be ordering one now, but I guess I'll be dropping hints all over the place instead since Christmas is coming!!!

Thank you, ShinyTrinket!
I understand that seeing the BDH's is much more important than a coat! I would have done the same thing! You are right, though....Christmas is coming up fast!

Thank you again!

Do you take commissions on items other than what you have here?

There are a few items I'd love to have someone work on for me.

email me @ haldira@gmail.com if you are interested in looking into some Firefly costumes with me.

Haldira, I would be very interested. I am working with another of our members on a dress, but I am always interested in taking a shot at anything else!

My curiosity and attention to not always so important stuff: is that a pocket on the back? Can you reach behind and grab a grenade if you wanted to?

TPage, yes, it is a pocket...I have no idea why it's there, or what it could be used for...although a grenade is a good idea!
No, when I started building this and posting the first pics, someone (not sure they want to be named ) asked if I was going to put the pocket on the back...to make a long story short, I had to go frame-by-frame on OOG to look for a pocket...and it turns out I had been looking in the wrong place! I was looking around the waist... So, there is a pocket in the middle of the back...for what, I don't know.

Sorry, I should have added I think it looks amazing and definitely better than buying some brand or generic name in the store.

Keep it up!

TPage, I really appreciate that comment! I am glad that the costumes I build are taken so well here. That's why I try to keep building more and more....

It's a new week, so I thought I would give this a bump!

Tristan:

How close are you to starting (i.e. have you finished the Kaylee jackets for people unknown to me)? I've been making my SQUEE of uncontrollable, excited glee for some time now.

My ZoeCoat is coming. My ZoeCoat is coming.

The beauty is that it looks like a regular overcoat and I can wear it everywhere. Only I will know that it is a symbol of my unwavering holding. Well, me and all the people that I blab to.
