My mother-in-law got a cold & just cancelled her babysitting plans for this weekend.Looks like I'm going to need many margaritas .

I'll take a rainbow please...(I've been told you start with cider, then a snakebite, then a black and tan, then the Guiness, then another black and tan, and another snakebite, then a final cider)...No need to rush on the whole thing, just start me off with a water please.
*sits down, at one table and grabs another to set out some snacks -- dried cuttlefish, wasabi peanuts, some ahi poke, sashimi (think nigiri-zushi without the rice under it), beef jerky, ahi jerky, etc.*
*realizes how it's actually still worktime (yes, one of those "I'm here and I can't handle it" days)* I'll have the hardest non-alcoholic drink that there is please.

It's REALLY funny but I was going to ask for the hardest alcoholic drink in the house yesterday. But I didn't make it in.

JQ - not planning much ,just dinner & a movie.But it was The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D ! I'm very disappointed.Not to mention not getting to sleep late on Sunday morning .
I want to whine like one of my kids.
I need another margarita !

-Penguin, you asked what a japanese slipper was in the last Pub thread, it's normally made of midori (melon), lime juice, triple sec, and cointreau, served in a martini glass with a glase cherry in the bottom. its a very pretty green colour and looks funky with the red cherry at the bottom of the glass.
also, i found a cocktail named Firefly!
its 2 measures of vodka, 4 measures of grapefruit juice and 1 teaspoon of grenadine, in a highball glass. it looks very pretty too.
