Roast me for a rarebit! No, sadly I've no idea about the man's condition. Having flambe'ed my own stupid self in a gas explosion (at a bondfire; had I only had s'mores...), on viewing the video, he may have gotten burnt but not severely.
In my own case thanks to gasoline's incendiary properties the force of the blast blew the flames right on by me. Only singed me hairs. Best part of that scene was that I was stone cold sober.
My other theory is that had he really been hurt, nobody would be cruel enough to post it. Quick somebody have Mal shoot someone's puppy...

Well, my hippie-ish concern for the guy isn't enough to stop me giggling like crazy at the video. It really is terribly funny.

It makes me think about the Mythbusters where the explosion burns off one of Adam's eyebrows and then he's all mad because he has a date that night and he can't figure out how to explain he burned his own eyebrow off in a stupid experiment....
