OK all this got me goin, I tried my hand at a short fanfic. Tell me what ya think. Maybe we could fit it into our series somewhere. Be honest, but be nice. Last I checked I still had feelings.

I liked it. I love the stories that they never have to leave the ship or have some outside source; the ones that focus on the characters, like this one. It seemed to me that Jayne was a bit emotional, but I suppose that's okay. He's done that before. I really like the ending too. Very true to the characters and good dialogue.

I wrote another one, though maybe this is just a fanfic and that's all. Again, based on something I wrote long ago, but changed quite a bit to fit. It's basically a River story, though Simon and Mal are in it a bit too.

Be honest. I can take it. I don't really have a lot of experience in creative writing beyond the one class I took, so it is impossible for me to say whether this is excellent or crapolla. Since there is no way for me to get my voice from point A to point B via the computer. This is my contribution to Dug's plan. Bon appetite.

The whole idea about new groups of ppl in stories works, I was bored last year in my lunch period, so I started writing this Fanfic, It involed none of the main characters and was about theese two browncoats who destroy an alliance inspection ship becouse they had illigal goods but end up with one of thm stowed away on their ship on accedent. I hadent gotten far, but new crews can be so much more fun! I mean, its fun writing about our motly group, but they cant do every thing. Heck, oyu could make a mudfarmer story just for a change

Killer! I like the premise. True to the characters. Excellent vocab. I like Jayne and Kaylee fighting. I can so see that. Can't wait to see what happens.

If Dug thinks my work is worthy, I would be honored if it made it to production, depending on how many eps Dug was fixing to do. If it's crap, at least I can look at myself in the mirror and say that I did my part to help a good idea. As always, be brutally honest. We don't learn from our successes half as much as from our failures.
p.s. Has anyone heard from Dug yet?
