I am rather surprised at the Xena turn out.
It really doesn't compare to something like Firefly. Although I did hear that Lucy Lawless (Xena) became an icon for gay women. It would explain the support...

Here's a bump.
Ya I watched Xena religiously. It was a hoot. And it had a strong gay message for women.
They actually went farther with Inara in Firefly. If the show had lasted longer who knows if those votes would be going in Firefly's direction.
